Revenue per Seat Hour Calculator

Revenue per available seat hour (RevPASH) treats each seat, each hour, as inventory — the way hotels treat rooms. It answers a question raw revenue can't: is your floor earning to its capacity, or coasting on a few good hours?

The formula, in the open

• Seat-hours = seats × service hours in the period.
• RevPASH = revenue ÷ seat-hours.

Track it per daypart: a floor with a strong dinner RevPASH and an empty 3pm has a different problem (and a different fix) than one that's evenly mediocre.

A worked example

A day of ₹1,51,320 revenue on 56 seats over 8 service hours: 448 seat-hours, so RevPASH is about ₹338 per seat-hour. (The revenue figure is the same day modelled in our table turnover calculator — the two metrics are the same floor seen from different angles.)
