Delivery Commission Calculator
Delivery platforms bring orders and take a commission on each. Whether that trade works for you is arithmetic, not opinion — and it's worth doing per order, because the monthly bank transfer hides the per-order economics.
The formula, in the open
- Commission per order = menu price × your platform's commission rate.
- Net per order = menu price − commission − packaging cost.
- Per month = both numbers × your delivery order volume.
Enter the commission rate from your own aggregator agreement — rates vary by platform, city and contract, so we bake none in.
A worked example
A ₹380 order at 28% commission with ₹15 packaging: the platform takes ₹106 and you keep ₹259. At 600 delivery orders a month, that's ₹63,600 to the platform and ₹1,55,400 to you.
What this doesn't model
The dine-in revenue those orders may replace, ad spend on the platforms, or the delivery-exclusive pricing many restaurants use to claw back the commission. Those are strategy; this page is the arithmetic under it.
